Given the rising problem of graduates with music majors, we made surveys focusing on a western university for composing graduates within the time range of nearly a decade in order to get effective information about the graduates employment and the relationship among their professional cultivation, the market, and the city. By this survey, we find that university professional cultivation is seriously inconsistent with market demand, and with the students' career development. Furthermore, employment websites cannot provide graduates with accurate information concerning professional employment. Through the comprehensive analysis of data, this paper will give suggestions on how to solve specific problems, as well as models that can be adopted by the government to solve problems concerning professional cultivation, market and city, so as to provide a sample for more problems as such.
